Whether you love him or hate him, there is no denying that Tom Brady is an American Hero. Tom Brady is more of a Patriot that you or I could ever hope to be.
This hero was not the talk of college football analysts and scouts, in fact, he went largely unnoticed in the draft. Until one heroic day when the New York Airplanes laid out Drew Bledsoe with a most dirty hit. Little did we know that one foul hit would open the door for a true American Hero to find his place in all of our hearts.
Tom Brady is an American Hero, he should be on the dollar bill. He's got a supermodel for a wife, he rocks Super Bowl bling, and Tom Brady can make girly boots look manlier than a lumberjack in Alaska.
Some people want to go around touting the "skills" of Mark Sanchez, the second rate quarterback of the North Jersey Pollutants. Mark Sanchez isn't worthy of sweeping the lustrous hair of Tom Brady off the floor of his barber shop.

Music You Need In Your Life
The current state of music is in flux, but fret no more because Baby Face Malloy is here to give you a couple bands that will turn your playlist upside down! These bands aren't the typical rock bands that I listen to, but they are putting out great music that is easy to digest and can help soothe you when the man is bringing you down.
The Civil Wars
The Southern duo of John and Joy are new to the scene and are not to be ignored. Their music is something of an intimate conversation with a steady back and forth that is both pleasing to the ears and the mind. With their minimalism approach and heavy focus on a beautiful sound, you'd be surprised to hear they've won some Country Music accolades, even if their sound is a bit more alternative. I would urge you to listen to two songs by this duo, "Poison and Wine" and "Barton Hollow." The first song, "Poison and Wine" is a beautiful song expressing the sincerity and irony of the dichotomous nature of our lives. Pay close attention to the lyrics of this song as they're sung alternately between the soft soprano of Joy and a raspy tenor of John.
Josh Ritter
Josh Ritter has received some recent acclaim for his latest album, "So Runs The World Away," but he is not new to the scene. Josh has been putting out albums for over a decade and was even named one of the 100 Greatest Living Songwriters by Paste magazine. His music is both ethereal and homely, a quality that is rarely found in today's music. There isn't much I can say other than to urge you to listen to "Change of Time" and lean back in your favorite recliner. His narrative style lyrics will draw you into his world and wash you out, calmly, on the other side.
Travis
The boys from Scotland, known as Travis, are another band with some recent success that are by no means a new band. These guys are quite popular in the UK and have been slowly finding their way into the homes of a stingy American music culture. At first listen, you might find a lot of similarity between Travis and Josh Ritter, and that would be a fair analysis as their lyrical styles are geared towards story telling. Give a quick listen to "Half the World Away" and be prepared to have your mind blown. Travis has done a great job of mixing fun melodies with soft harmonies, and completely avoiding anything that could be considered offensive or aggressive. These boys are the epitome of a chilled out rock band.

Tim Tebow - Time To Go!
Tebow Time is over. This overly hyped, marginally talented QB for the Denver Broncos has fallen short of everyone's expectations - and now it's time he leaves.
I bet you weren't expecting that from Baby Face Malloy, but Heel Capano has taken a stance to support this buffoon. He wants us to think that people hate him because he diddles himself to images of the apocalypse every night as Jesus swoops down on a 4 headed horse to save him from this awful, awful world. But the truth is, we hate Tebow Time because his hype was that of a legend, and he's been nothing short of a major flop.

He threw 2 complete passes in his last game; and, yes, he was the starter. When he throws the ball, it looks like a mixture between someone trying to scratch their back with a long stick and someone trying to pimp slap their hoe! In short, the man can compete and excel against boys, but he can't hang with the big dudes.
Now, don't get me wrong, Tebow is a physically talented dude! He's just not fit for the QB position in the NFL. Someone once said he looks like a Tight End lined up in the Wildcat. I'd like to see Tebow converted to a specialty back that can slide from the backfield to the flats. He can take direct snaps and run with it, or drop back for a screen pass and run behind coverage. Maybe 3-5 times a game they'll let him throw it a la Tomlinson on the Chargers.
Although, as a starting QB if he's throwing it fewer than 10x a game, I think it's a pretty clear sign that he's not cut out to be a QB. It's time to hang up the mini jersey and strap on a new number, Tebow.

This is probably my 18th blog, which is a total exaggeration, but that's my MO. I am starting this blog in direct response to my arch nemesis Heel Capano. We'll be battling it over similar topics with two starkly different views. In reality, Heel Capano may be the only person to ever read this!
